Synopsis

A sequel to his earlier work Anticipations, Wells' philosophical lecture The Discovery of the Future was originally delivered as a speech at Royal Institution before published as book. The author explores the human mind into two categories as how it deals with past and future. Passive and submissive principles are applied for dealing with the past, the ability to deal with Future is driven by creative and legislative skills of the human brain.
