Synopsis

The Defenders is a science fiction story by Philip K Dick about the use of robots in the war-field to save human casualty. Leadys, the robots conducting the nuclear war on behalf of United States and the Soviet Union. Both countries receives message from their robots that human can not enter the battle field, however as the months passed suspect actions from Leadys were noticed. When Taylor, a war strategist secretly traveled to the battlefield found the Leadys were busy in rebuilding the destroyed fields and even ask the human to stop fighting and go for peace.
