Synopsis

Tarzan of the Apes is jungle fiction novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs which has opened the way for Burroughs' creation of fictitious hero Tarzan and the series of novels. John Clayton, an English boy orphaned on birth, has been under motherly care from a Tribe named Kala. Kala names him as Tarzan and he is growing without knowing he is of human race. On reaching his adulthood, he realizes his physical identity is different from the tribes. Envied by his muscular strength, the king of the Apes Kerchak kills his mother ape and tries to expel him from the Apes. However with his strength he becomes the King of Apes after killing Kerchak and winning a fight with new jungle migrants.
