Synopsis

H. G. Wells' science fiction novel In the Days of the Comet narrates the effects of a comet in human lives. A victim of recession William Leadford is struggling to find a new job. When his sweet-heart Nettie Stuart, ignores his love and planning to marry the wealthy Edward Verrall, the evils in him breaks-out. While he was about to shoot Nettie and Edward, a comet occupies the earth and creates a fog resulting everyone going to unconscious state. William wakes-up as a changed man and regrets his plans to kill Nettie and her would be. Perhaps the comet has changed positiveness in every human and made the world a better place with love and care.
