Synopsis

Oscar Wilde's comedy An Ideal Husband explores the morality in politics and public life. Lady Chiltern is proudly thinking, she married an Ideal Husband Sir Robert Chiltern, a politican with clean image. Chilton's classmate Mrs. Cheveley blackmails Robert with a solid proof that he leaked a secret governmet record for financial gains. Though his family friend Lord Goring rescued him from the blackmail, he quits from politics on moral grounds.
